The Party!

The triathlon’s weekend headquarters is located at the Gardner Dam Boy Scout Camp. The weekend reflects a festival atmosphere with onsite camping, a large tent for all the festivities, SUP and kayak demos, and outdoor adventure equipment vendors all of which will be available all weekend long.

Throughout the weekend there will be music, plenty of food between our pig roast and food trucks and the drink will pour!  There will be a variety of Hinterland beer and wine for sale so make sure you have your "Over 21" wristband and a couple extra bucks for Friday evening as well as Saturday for the after-party. You must have an "Over 21" wristband to drink alcohol at Gardner Dam Boy Scout Camp.

For Saturday's festivities, all participants will receive a badge for entry to the pig roast and 2 free drinks!  Extra meal wristbands will be available for friends and family. $5.00 kids, $10.00 adults.  Please pick these up Friday evening at registration as there are a limited number available.  You must have a badge/wristband to partake in the food.  Also, don't forget your lawn chair!

Our locally prepared pig roast will be served from 1-3 PM with awards and door prizes starting at 3 PM. We have some pretty awesome prizes this year so stay tuned!

More food truck vendors are in the works so be sure to watch for updates!  We guarantee you will not walk away from the weekend hungry as they all will be serving up some fantastic food starting Friday evening throughout the weekend!

Note:  Although we adore our pets, we encourage racers to leave your furry friends at home. If it is necessary to bring them to Gardner Dam, they will need to be on leash at all times and owners MUST cleanup after their pets.

Join us in the Wolfman Big Ass Tent (BAT) both Friday evening and Saturday for musical entertainment. Friday entertainment starts at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday the music begins at 12:00 p.m.! Check out who our 2019 entertainers were below...watch for updates for our 2021 performers!

Colleen M

Colleen Myhre and the Jebberhooch!

Colleen Myhre and the Jebberhooch hit the stage at 12p.m. on Saturday! Colleen (Boss Mama) Myhre has soul, and she pours it into every note. With complete control of her voice, Colleen takes listeners on an emotional ride from smooth country heartbreak to foot stomping Americana blues and beyond. Her songwriting ranges from honest emotion and earthly imagery to the raucousness of horses, strippers, and whiskey. Myhre is a folk-country-blues singer/songwriter grounded in passionate and sincere family values.  This year she is joined by the Jebberhooch so this trio will not disappoint!

Chicken Wire Sponsor

Chicken Wire Empire!

We are happy to announce our headling band of the weekend and we couldn't be more excited to welcome the guys from Chicken Wire Empire! They will hit the stage on Saturday at 4pm!  You don't want to miss it!

Jordan Kroeger (bass) and Ryan Ogburn (mandolin) began their musical relationship in the Wisconsin jamband scene, Chicken Wire Empire began as a 4 piece traditional bluegrass band.  The band honed its traditional sound, encapsulating it in 2014 with their debut album Chicken Wire Empire.  With half of the group rooted in bluegrass, and the other half steeped in jamband music, a change occurred when CWE performed an Old & In The Way tribute show.  With the addition of Jon Peik (banjo), Ernest Brusubardis IV (fiddle), and Greg Brundage (guitar), a new sound was found in Milwaukee, and Chicken Wire Empire joined the roster of high energy jamgrass.

Chicken Wire Empire has been blessed with opportunities to share the stage with renowned musicians (Yonder Mountain String Band, 30db, The Big Wu, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades) and performing in many regional festivals (Blue Ox and Boats & Bluegrass).  With support from their local scene, friends, and families, Chicken Wire Empire looks to the future, with a goal to strengthen Wisconsin’s bluegrass scene, and further the appreciation of acoustic music.
