• Solo Racer: Canoe/Kayak, Mountain Bike and Off-Road Run

• Tandem Team: Tandem competitors race as a team. Tandem teams must paddle in the same boat. The bike and run segments are timed individually and combined into one score. The fastest combined time wins. If one member fails to finish, the team is disqualified.

• Relay Team: 3 individuals competing as a team with each member completing one leg of the race, i.e., boat, bike or run. The boat, bike and run segments are timed individually and combined into one score. The fastest combined time wins. If one member fails to finish, the team is disqualified.

• Dryathlon Solo Racer: Run, Mountain Bike and Run again! A 3.0 mile run through some of Langlade County's finest potato fields,13-mile mountain bike on the Nicolet Roche and 3.5-mile trail run along the beautiful Wolf River.

RUN - BIKE - RUN AGAIN!! No boat, no swimming, no worries! Don't miss out on participating in one of the first adventure dryathlons out there! We started 27 years ago to highlight the rugged and beautiful terrain of the eastern part of Langlade County in and around the upper Wolf River. Join us for the inaugural running of the Wolfman Dryathlon. A 3.0 mile run through some of Langlade County's finest potato fields,13 mile mountain bike on the Nicolet Roche and 3.5 mile trail run along the beautiful Wolf River. Oh, and one heck of a party at the finish too! 


Wolfman COVID-19 Protocols

COVID screening will be the responsibility of participants/attendees.  Athletes are asked to ensure that any family, friends or others they intend to bring to the event are also subject to the below criteria. In the unlikely event that an individual should become sick, they will be immediately isolated from other attendees and will be asked to wear a facemask as they prepare to leave the event. Individuals who want to be vaccinated against COVID-19 should. Those who have chosen not to have assumed the risk of non-vaccination.

All attendees must practice physical distancing when possible (six (6) feet or more).  Face coverings are encouraged when physical distancing of 6 feet cannot be maintained.  Hand sanitizer will be provided at all places people congregate during the event

Persons should NOT attend the event if:

  1. They have a fever of ≥100.4°F on the day of the event
  2. They have had any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days. Such as a new continuous cough, fever, change/loss of taste/smell.
  3. They have been in contact with anyone who is sick (symptomatic) in the past 14 days.
